Gifts for campervan enthusiasts aren’t like other gifts. They’re not objects that sit on a shelf. They’re invitations. Hints. Little reminders that whisper: “Hey… when are we hitting the road again?”
We’ve gathered seven ideas that aren’t just practical. Each one carries a message. Something for a partner you’d like to invite on more weekend escapes. Something for your kids to show that you'll make more time for screen-free adventures. Something for a friend whose passion you understand. And something for yourself. Because maybe this is the moment to give a gift that leads to more freedom, more journeys, and maybe… your first Robeta.
1) A personalised camping mug – for those first quiet minutes of the morning
An enamel mug may be small, but in a campervan it becomes part of a ritual. It’s those early moments when the world slows down and the view through the window says more than words ever could.
Add a playful or meaningful line, such as:
“Working hard so my future van can have a view.”
It’s funny, yes, but it also speaks of dreams: different mornings, different horizons, the freedom of life on four wheels.
For more light-hearted nights around the table, try:
“Weekend forecast: 100% chance of van.”
What does it say?
That the plan is clear. That a weekend without the campervan doesn’t quite feel like a weekend. And that one look at this mug is enough to make someone check the weather and start browsing the calendar for the next free couple of days.
2) A T-shirt that says more than words – humour, hints, and invitations to escape
A T-shirt makes a great gift because it’s worn often, and with the right message, it becomes a bridge between wishes and reality.
Instead of the usual “Home is where you park it,” choose something more playful and personal:
“I don’t snore. That’s the Truma.”
Perfect for couples who enjoy camping humour (and who debate at least once a year whether the louder noise comes from the partner… or the heater).
What does it say?
That the person embraces the reality of campervan life with humour and affection. That the small quirks of the road make the van feel even more like home.
Or try:
“Relationship status: planning our next escape.”
What does it say?
That the best “status” includes freedom, adventures, and shared journeys. That the next escape is always on their mind. And that this T-shirt is really just a gentle invitation: “So… when are we going?”
3) France Passion membership – a gift that unlocks thousands of new destinations
France Passion is one of Europe’s most charming travel traditions. It connects you with more than 2,000 family farms, wineries, cheesemakers, and small artisans across France - places where campervanners can stay for free, in exchange for a chance to taste local products, meet the hosts, and discover the country in its most authentic form.
It’s the perfect gift for those who love slow travel, genuine encounters, and days where the highlight isn’t a famous landmark but a warm conversation with the winemaker hosting you for the night.
What does it say?
That you want to explore a different Europe. Slow, personal, authentic. That you’re looking for experiences, not just destinations. And maybe that next summer is meant to be spent among vineyards—not on crowded motorhome parking lots.
4) Tickets to CMT Stuttgart – Europe’s biggest camping show
This is more than a gift. It’s an outing, an event, and the perfect excuse to step together into the world of campervans you’ve been admiring on Instagram. In one day, you can compare dozens of models, discover new destinations, and see the latest trends.
And the best part? Robeta will be there. With our models and our team, ready to present the highlights of the upcoming 2026 model year.
What does it say?
That it might be time for a real conversation about “our campervan.” And that the next chapter of your travels might begin right at this show.
5) A board game for campervan evenings – a gift that brings the family together
There’s nothing more “vanlife” than a rainy evening when everyone gathers around the table. A board game is the perfect gift for families who travel—or who want to travel more.
Great choices for the road include:
- Azul (travel edition)
Beautiful, tactical, compact. Engaging for adults and fun for kids. Ideal for calm evenings in the warmth of your Robeta.
- Dobble /Spot It!
Fast, hilarious, and pocket-sized. The ideal “just five-minutes before bedtime” game.
- Ticket to Ride: Europe – travel map pack
Thematically perfect for travel lovers. It turns “one quick game” into planning your next real route.
6) A travel journal – because memories are more meaningful when you write them down
A travel journal is a gift that lasts. A place to capture small moments that would otherwise fade: the first morning view, the perfect cup of coffee, a quiet campsite, or tiny mishaps that later become the best stories.
Add apersonal dedication or a few printed photos from past trips to make it even more meaningful.
What does it say?
That you want to create new stories—and remember them together. That some moments deserve to be written, not only photographed.
And becausethe new year is the perfect time for fresh intentions, the first pages can hold a few vanlife “goals”:
- How many destinations you want to explore
- How many nights you hope to spend in the campervan
- How many weekend escapes will be “non-negotiable”
- Which country, mountain pass, or beach is on your must-visit list
The kind of goals that truly matter.
7) A Robeta as a “future gift” – when it’s time for something more
Sometimes the real gift isn’t an object—it’s a decision.
If, in the past months, you’ve caught yourself slowing down near every campervan you pass… or if your morning coffee always ends with you scrolling through photos of vans overlooking mountain peaks… then that’s probably a sign.
Maybe it’s time for the biggest gift you can give yourself—and for the decision: "Next year, we could have our own Robeta.”
What does it say?
That dreams are meant to be lived, not only imagined.
